Ok back on topic.

Grinnen Baeritt(Andrew Mussel) at rpgRm has being doing some development in converting and revising the old War Law to be used with RMSS/FR. I was part of the playtesters in the first run. You can read about it here>> http://www.rpgrm.com/rmsmf/index.php?board=173.0

I was playing with one for a while back, then learned that ICE had someone working on it, then the guy disappeared (this was back when John Curtis was editor, so it was some time ago).  You can see elements of it in Vehicle Manual.  The infantry critical charts are elements of that design.  My favorite item on those charts was something like:

"Whose blood is this?  Whose blood is this!?

Morale check."

A new Oriental Companion!
Ninjas, martial arts, oriental monsters, magic based on the 5 elements (fire, water, earth, wood and metal)... and maybe some suggestions on making a campaing in hong-kong movies or anime style.

Also, I subscribe the steampunk companion (maybe it could be done as a Construct Compaion addedum)
I suppose a magician might, he admitted, but a gentleman never could.

That would've been twice as funny if it had been between "Official" markers.

Untitled World

A new campaign setting.  Shadow World works for RMC, so I'd like to see a new Campaign Setting written for RMFRP.

Something to set new official adventures on.  Something not medieval or pseudo-medieval, but inspires adventure in a world that's pre-industrial.

New books, new books, let's see. Thanks to RMSS we could have those books RMFRP lacks of, so there's no need of MAC nor AC. Nor EC thanks to TGC. Banzai for them.

So... mmm... New books with spell lists will be always welcome (for me at least). Realms Companions are the best books. Luckily, we already have them all (maybe another about Arcane?... It has only 1... while the rest 2). Well, I guess I like Arcane too much, that's why I'd like this.

Those Undead Companion, Demon Companion could be very good, although if they were too 'specific world setting' oriented (i.e. SW?) ppl who didn't like that setting could be a little disappointed (as the last Races & Cultures... IMO It was better R&C:UR). I think was Arioch who said Dark Companion, kind of a mix in this way... Interesting.

I like very much C&M, any Bestiary, but... It's just they used to include too many creatures instead of focusing in some of them (the main ones) with detail (including TR Mods if possible xD). Would be so cool. With a (good) picture of any of them. I don't like dungeons, but when it makes something in a better way, that's the way it is... RM won't be remembered by his illustrations, definately... Guess this is expensive. (good FX must be so expensive... As the awful Heroes season finale certified x.x... Everybody hopes they get more budget next season xD).

To say some more, it's true a RMFRP' War Law & Sea Law could be very good.

Campaign Law / Adjusting the Scales

Guidelines for creating inherently balanced/consistent settings and for determining the "power level" of a setting. The main topic of this book would be the scaling of RMSS/RMFRP to settings that have a different power level than what the system is created for. Specifically, the companion could cover adjusting general expectations to PCs, setting maneuver difficulties, creating new races and cultures, converting stats for NPCs/monsters, reward adjustments and such.

[Environment] Companion (City, Forest, Mountain, Coastal, Polar, ...)

A set of companions that focusses on the specific environment. Covered topics could include common inhabitants (both people, creatures, and monsters), the importance and use of such areas in a country (industrially as well as strategically), commonly available ressources (e.g., herbs, metals, or gems), and natural hazards. The books should be independent of settings, but could use a common setting for illustrating important points.

Faction Companion

Guidelines for creating factions and groups of people with common agendas, goals or interests - this can include religions, guilds, and councils. A book like this should be useful for other systems too, possibly divided into two parts like GURPS: Religion - a general section and a system-oriented section. The general section could cover inspiration for the creation of such groups and factions and ideas on how to describe them (what is the goal of the faction? who are the typical members? what are their means of action? what is keeping them together?), while the system-specific section could cover training packages (including TP Spell lists) and other gains.

Revised War Law and Sea Law.  I would also like to see something akin to Underground Races but for the surface races, complete with race/culture specific talents and TPs, etc.

An adventure set around . . . oh . . . the Quest for a certain MacGuffin that can destroy the evil Sorcerer.  Like his heart or something.  And that the Sorcerer is trying to Cuckold the kingdom or Sultanate by marrying the princess.

It can have a genie.

Just looking over this and other such threads and I was wondering if such books would be done at the same time for the three systems (RMFRP, RMC & HARP) or if each game would have its own books?  Some might not make the jump to/from HARP well (there are many more undead in RM* than HARP and are handled a little different for example) but in general mechanics should be similar enough.

I agree with Elton on this one. Something that can incorporate firearms and consrtucts etc. Also with not so much influence on magic, much like the way it's described in RM's "Pirates".
