If you happen to be one of my players, get thee away from this thread.
So, I'm running RMSS. The group currently consists of:

Lvl 7 Rogue
Lvl 5 Fighter
Lvl 7 Wizard
Lvl 8 Magent
Next session, they are likely to be assaulting the abode of a Rhodintor. They don't actually know what type of demon it is, but they know what it looks like, as well as the fact that it is a mystic, has acid blood, it's touch drains life and it carries a staff of demon fire.
They know that it has some clubbers, spear demons, viles and a sentinel as minions. Thanks to some shoddy demon/devil lore, they are of the (correct) belief that warrior demons are often encountered in vast numbers, and the (incorrect) belief that they're weak, petty chaff. (They fought some clubbers previously, and barely broke a sweat, reinforcing their belief warrior demons are all weak). They have no real idea what viles are, but aren't likely to encounter them at the same time anyway, unless the fight is particularly drawn out (also, I have significantly reduced the DB of viles, because they're way too tough for their listed level, and these particular ones are a bit under-levelled).
They are aware there won't actually that many warrior demons they'll be facing. Likely, it will be four clubbers, four spear demons and a sentinel, along with the rhodintor.
I am extremely intrigued to discover how it goes. I expect the rhodintor will have an opportunity to get its defensive spells up (Blur, Shadow Mystic, Displacement IV, Protection II), meaning a lucky, early kill is highly unlikely. I'm currently trying to work out if it has an effective way to place some Signs that will influence the fight (it has reason to suspect an attack).
Things could get very, very ugly.
