SM: P TL VM A-2.4 Select Power Source (21) Part 3: Fusion Reactor p. 116
Q1. Is the cost of the fusion reactor fuel the same ¢50,000 as shown on p. 115 for the Fusion Drive?
My feeling is that both the fusion drive and reactor fuel costs the same.
Q2. If the fusion reactor fuel cost is ¢50,000 per p. 116 is the cost calculated based on 1 week of fuel?
Looking at the Matter/Antimatter Reactor rule I think the fusion drive should also have the fuel mass, volume, cost calculated based on operating period of one week.
Errata Recommendation based on Q1 is to do a pen and ink change to the Fusion Drive Fuel rule on p. 115 from:.
Fusion Drive Fuel
Most of details of liquid deuterium are outlined under the fusion drive. For refueling purposes, use this equation:
Cost of Liquid Deuterium per Metric ton: ¢50,000
