I just wanted to say I'm finding how ICE is organizing it's website and the online store.

The description (above) for the RM Companion I says it is for RMC. Yet it is not listed on the main page for RMC, and when you check it out in the online store the cover is totally different from the other RMC products.  Finding it is also not easy as it is not listed with the other RMC products.

As Cormac points out, RoCo I is produced and released by Guild Companion Publications, not by ICE. Now, ICE does host the Guild store for the Guild (thus the "ironcrown.com" in their store name), but that is as far as ICE's involvement in the product.

RoCo I isn't on the main RMC pages because of this same reason. Only ICE's products are listed there, not those published by another company.

Are there any incompatibilities/issues between the Revised Rolemaster Companion and RMC?

Also is there a review out there anywhere?
Anything that makes the GMs life easier without messing the game up will always get a vote from me.

Marc Rosen and I assisted in the re-editing of the Revised Rolemaster Companion to ensure full compatibility between RoCo I and the new RMC ruleset.

Is there a revision in Condensed Combat System table? I always felt that Lance and Long Bow basic hit factors give too large damage compared to standard tables.

No, we did not change the Condensed Combat System.

and removed one very modest paragraph that was entirely to do with a certain other game system.

Was that a certain D20 system, or a certain D6 system? :D

My favorite companions were RMC1, RMC2, and RMC4 for the following reasons:
 - 1 had the expanded stat bonuses, used all the time.
 - 1 had a lot cooler BG options we used a lot
 - 2 had all the skills, we pretty much *had* to use
 - 4 had a point based system for BG options we used a lot
 - 4 had a one-roll-resolution for spells we particularly liked

The others got /some/ usage, mainly for their professions (like the Bounty Hunter, Warrior, etc), but only here and there. We did like the Greater than 100 stat extra ability in I think the 5th companion?

RoCo II is very popular as 3 of my copies have walked away never to be found or heard from again.
