This week we will looking into the Book, were the novel "City of assassins" is located: Eidolon & Sel-kai: a general podcast review follow this link

**Note about podcasts done with AI from my side in general: **They are mostly positive in moot and are not meant to tell you if products are better then others. Instead they focus on the content and a general view to highlight certain things and bring in a new sight of somebody looking into it with the knowledge of countless years of Roleplaying  discussed. So you can use them to refresh your Shadow World knowledge (what I am doing mostly with the very detailed reviews) or decide, if the content is for you or not.                                                                                                                                                              Have fun! Today I want to start with a quick summary for players into Kulthea´s History and a quick summary of EMER 2 part 1/3- note that sel-kai and Eidolon has his own podcast, so it is omitted here: https://discord.com/channels/737958249936060416/750324220533145680/1335712846427721749

In the meantime there are podcasts reviews about all four shadow world novels from Ian Hammel:

Furthermore a review of Shadow World Novel (and Audiobook) comparing it with modern fantasy novels- No.1 "Clock strikes Sword" is published:

last but not least the podcast review "The burning goddess" a Shadow World fantasy Novel by Ian Hammel 1990 about Aranmor and "Demons of the burning night": The burning goddess links

And today, I bring to you a podcast review I consider the best of the four Shadow World novels from the '90s—this book provides a deep exploration of the Unlife, takes us to Quellbourne and Kelfour's Landing in the Land of the Silver Mist, and offers glimpses into the legendary Andraax's personality. From what I know, it was also Terry's favorite among the four. Whether he was directly involved, I can't say for certain, but the first Kalen stories took shape as a glue to put a campaign together as addon to this book.

This review similar to the last few compare the books with other classic and modern fantasy literature.

**IAN HAMMELL** (aka Roxanne Longstreet Conrad, Rachel Caine, Roxanne Longstreet, Roxanne Conrad, Julie Fortune) (USA, 1962 - 2020). Hammell
was the New York Times and internationally bestselling author of the young adult Morganville Vampires and also the powerhouse urban fantasy Weather
Warden series, as well as the bestselling Outcast Season series, set in the universe of the Weather Warden novels. Hammell wrote the Shadow World novel series, based on the Iron Crown fantasy world.

Next month, I will reupload lost lore in a modern format as part my new project under a new thread:

A Tribute to Terry K. Amthor. Stay tuned to listen to newly produced audiobook material and read Kalen's stories anew, outside of Loremasters Legacy and as a sequel!

Have fun!
