Believe it or not, it's already Christmas in Australia. So it's only right to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a gaming new year; may all your dice be exploding! :)

I hope everyone is safe and healthy, and not alone and lonely.

I really enjoyed my Christmas.  Elyse and I went up to her parents cabin in Idaho.  There is no technology up there.  Can't even get a cell phone signal unless you spend about an hour driving to the nearest town.

It was great to get away from the world.  Only problem was satellite TV did keep us connected somewhat.

Belated Merry Christmas everyone! My Christmas was a little down because a new cable I got from amazon shut my old Dell inspiron 9200 laptop down for a few days and fried my USB ports. I am now working through a PCMCIA USB adaptor card. Of which my 1TB external drive will not work at all through. On the bright side I was able to order a "newer" computer for only $150 total minus the $100 I was able to finagle out of amazon for damages (so $50). It is an old Dell Optiplex 745 with a 3.2 ghz pentium D and 4 gb of RAM with a decent GFeforce 8400GS video card. When and if I get the money I plan on upgrading the CPU to a core 2 duo quad core 2.66ghz ($70 used on amazon , and the best the mb can take) and another 4gb of RAM. So all in all not to bad as it is probably about 10x faster than this old but reliable laptop.
