Inobservant me...

I only just noticed the following in Terry Amthor's signature:--

"I have forgotten much that I thought I knew, and learned again much that I had forgotten. I can see many things far off, but many things that are close at hand I cannot see." --Gandalf the White

Did you know that the first draft originally read?--

"I have forgotten much that I thought I knew, and learned again much that I had forgotten. I can see many things far off, but many things that are close at hand I have to get really squinty at." --Gandalf the White
