I have some good news.

I've been concentrating on my Graphic Design classes, as much as I can actually.  I managed to create a magazine spread and I got an "A" on it, thank you very much.    So I'm technically a good layout artist.   The image may not look like much, but the magazine should be enlightening.

Now the bad news.

I have applied for an internship with Rite Publishing.  I'll be working on Pathways magazine, a free e-zine for Pathfinder fans.

Now for the other good news.

I'm available for more experience in doing layouts.  It's bad for me, because of my personal  economy, but I need the experience as much as anyone else.

I can only seem to get to the magazine cover and a CD cover - are you able to share the interior of the magazine?

If your lecturer hasn't already mentioned it, there's only 2 things I can make out easily on the cover and that's the words 'Bonus' and 'Rise of the Runelords' - even the magazine title is difficult to make out.

A larger font and in a more contrasting colour would do the deed (which would be a dark font in this case) and added to that, a drop shadow or outer glow (depending on the colour of the text and bg but outer glow would be the choice for this one) would stabilise it even more.

You could drop all the text lower on the snow bg and take the 'Plus:' items to the right hand side, effectively making a 2 column layout with the elf's legs being the column space.
