Is High Warrior Monk the best profession of arms? In my opinion Yes. What do you think about it? Is it too powerful?

I'd put in a vote for the Indurate from Arms Companion.

Please, define "best". Favourite? Best in unarmed combat? Best in combat, overall? Best balanced? Best in social activities? Best to take over the world? Best in an urban setting? Best in a rural setting? Best in a wild setting? Best to become rich fast? Etc.

Going with the "favourite" definition, my votes go for the Duelist, the Romantic, and the Swordsman.
The world was then consumed by darkness, and mankind was devoured alive and cast into hell, led by a jubilant 紗羽. She rejoiced in being able to continue serving the gods, thus perpetuating her travels across worlds to destroy them. She looked at her doll and, remembering their promises, told her: "You see, my dear, we succeeded! We've become legends! We've become villains! We've become witches!" She then laughed with a joyful, childlike laughter, just as she kept doing for all of eternity.

Duelist was nice. I also liked Cavaliers. But those both fall under the "favorite" category.

Warrior Monks can be amazing melee combatants.  Until... you realize you're never going to injure a lot of the critters in a fantasy setting without some kind of very specialized magic ability (weapon or item).  Low magic settings they are definitely stronger than high magic.

I run a world where magic is used, but not trusted.  This make a Warrior Monk a good profession, until they go hunting the Evil Magicians.  Once they are fighting magic they are a mit under protected.

Also, they must start as Cloistered Brothers so Background Options are limited.
