Topic: Harp source books

Hi all,
Well I'm new to Harp and am looking at running a game in the future, hopefully before the end of this year, I've grabbed the core harp PDF and it all looks quite great, what I'm wanting to know is about the source books COM, codex, martial law and so on, where would I be able to get a hold of these??? is it that I simply have to wait for the new versions?? or are they available somewhere currently??
Anyone's help will be taken thankfully

First of all, welcome to the wonderful world of HARP....

Second, unfortunately the other products are not currently available as they are undergoing tweaking to bring them in line with HARP Fantasy and HARP SF.  They should be available relatively soon, but first we're cleaning up the HARP Fantasy product and will move forward from there.

Third, you really don't need those other books to start playing and becoming familiar with the game.  HARP Fantasy has everything you need to play a full and enjoyable game.   For now, I'd ssuggest you give it a go using HARP Fantasy and then add the other pieces as they become available.

Martial Law and College of Magics will return as soon as we can get them through layout safely. Loot: a Field Guide will also be returning but it is only now entering rebranding.

Monsters: a Field Guide will not return.  It will be replaced with a wholly new HARP Bestiary and this will use the monster creation system that powers the creatures in the HARP Fantasy core rulebook.

Codex will not be returning. Some of its material will come back in the new Something Wicked.

Thom thanks for the speedy reply, I think that I will just get my self familiar with what I've got and wait for the source books before truly cracking into the game more for my personal life taking the big part of my time, family work etc.

Nicholas I know this will most likely be next to unanswerable but is there an expected release dates???

I'm hoping to see both Martial Law and College of Magics released in the next two to three months. Speed will depend on whether we can find a viable Pagemaker archive that the changes can be made to or whether they have to be completely laid out from scratch. If the former, they will be out sooner, if the latter it will take longer.

I'm more minded that we should try for a subterfuge sourcebook covering all things stealthy and professions and TPs associated with the criminal underworld. it's something that has never happened for Rolemaster or HARP before.
