War Law
« on: June 01, 2010, 02:00:18 PM »
Just got lucky and bought the War Law Box, complete with rulebook, unused counters and landscape sheets.

But I heard that there should also be a small booklet within, containing army examples or whatever? Has anyone further information about the complete contents of the box?

Thanks :)

I never punched my counters either and I never removed anything from the box.  When I get home I'll take a look and see what's in it.

There, iirc, should be a booklet containing a scenario, some game tables (both basic and advanced game) and a Unit "Character Sheet".

I have it and as Grinnen Baeritt, said it should have a small book with additional stuff.

I made my own counters with unit stats on them as I was running a large war for my game. The PC's used the units for the next 4 10 hour games. Boy it was fun.

Sounds very useful.

Is this booklet available anywhere as a pdf for some $?

Thanks :)

I do not know on anyplace that you can buy the small book. But you could always try ebay and such.

Apart from the scenario (which was some sort of underground battle... which didn't inspire me to play it.) all of the stuff in it is repeated in the main rulebook. It is nice therefore but not strictly necessary.

A PDF of the whole rulebook would be just as good, since the softback bindings soon gives up the ghost, when referring to the weapons tables. IMHO the rule book should have been split into two with the weapons tables as part of the seperate booklet.
