Environmental Effects
« on: January 11, 2010, 11:08:16 AM »
Hi all

I've recently started looking over my old RPG stuff as part of a "retro" year with my friends. I've volunteered to do an RM2 session or two and have been looking at my old books for inspiration.  Having checked the core books and a few of the companions I could not find any guidelines for environmental effects - extremes of heat / cold such as desert or polar region, lack of food or water*.  Any ideas where I could find this?

*Actually I've just found thirst / starvation in RMCoIII and a critical table in RMCoIV

Thanks

Ian

I know that there is info on it in RMSS/FRP GM Law but I am not sure about a RM2/C source.

You can also do a search of the Archives as this has come up quite a bit and I do remember a long thread on it. Do not worry about if it is RMSS/FRP or RMC/2/E as it should be compatible with all systems.

You could look at the exhaustion modifiers in character law they should cover it pretty much.

See there is another source that slipped my mind.
