New versions of the Rulebooks... What's new?
« on: September 09, 2011, 02:14:27 PM »
I am curious about the new PDF books....

Is there any new content in them?

Are they upgraded?  The old ones I bought about 5 years ago did not come with bookmarks.  I spent a week with my PDF editor bookmarking like crazy!  I even combined all the books into a single file, so I could just open one window and all the rules were at my fingertips.

I actually think that would be a great way to market the books....  Create a master PDF....  charge the same as if all the books were sold separately, but the end user gets a single file with the works.... all bookmarked and ready to go.

Unless otherwise stated, the PDF releases do NOT contain any new content. This is a rebranding process as far as Rolemaster and Spacemaster products are concerned. On occasion, we have fixed glaring errors but there is always the risk that the entire book will essentially blow up on us if we tamper too much with the layout. Many of these products were made quite some time ago using old software.

Adding bookmarks has not been a priority. Our priority is to get the books back in pdf and then we want to get them back into print via print-on-demand.

Best wishes,
Nicholas
