Title: Codex Spell Creation Cost
Post by: munchy on January 07, 2012, 04:12:30 PM
Were those spells in the Codex created using the spell creation system from College of Magics and are the costs listed somewhere accessible?

Being one of the "nobody special, I dunno nothin" types around here I can't definitively answer that question, other than to note that I've heard more than one person refer to Codex as "where spell costs ran off the cliff."

But on a guess, I'd call that a no.

I think they were, as the Codex came after CoM which became the standard system for spell creation in Harp (at least the way I understood it)… they did re-cost some of the core spells too I think, adjusted as per CoM rules.

I recall the Codex Spells being written using the CoM.

Yes, the spells in the Codex WERE written using the costs from COM.
