Topic: Finishing the Grand Campaign

Mr. Amthor,

I know this has been mentioned many times before, and I am aware of your feelings on it. However, what if the trilogy was completed by (an)other author(s) and just edited by you? I know that B Hanson has a ton of great material on this, and there are probably plenty of other GM's as well with material. This is something that the fans have wanted since the first sampling of it from the old ICE magazine.

There is unquestionably an interest (and some demand ) to see this completed. Every time it is mentioned there are numerous posts talking about it.
To prove my point, I will ask my fellow GC fans to sound off here if you would like for this happen. Gush by all means.

I just cannot see Mr Amthor having the time to do the editorial overview. There is too much else in the production queue and that is even before the singularity and all the pagesetting that should happen after that event.

I like the idea of seeing the Grand Campaign finished, but at the same time I suspect that Shadow World has evolved so much since the late 90s that it really would have to be started over from scratch to do it right.

One thing I think was really good about the portion that has been published on the web is the way the character backstories are so woven into the overall campaign. Even incomplete it serves as an example of good game design.

I have too much on my plate to work on the GC, and yes I think it is a bit out of date. But I would welcome anyone to finish it, with ICE permission.
