Topic: Where can I buy the Eidolon

Does anyone know where I can get hold of this book Eidolon in the UK? I don't want the PDF version though.
I've searched everywhere and can't find a single place.
Is it still in print?

I'm not sure if it's still in print, but you can occasionally pick up new and second hand copies from eBay UK, or through some hobby shops, either on or offline.

Isn't that book an older version or is the cover justy different but all info is the same as the newer PDF version?

YIKES! I ordered it from Ebay. Had to get it from the US in the end, so postage was quite a bit, but w rth it.

PDF only has the updated cover. There may be minor textual changes in the PDF that correct typos and the like but no 'New' material.

I got mine from Albris which was uber expensive but well worth it in my opinion too. Having a physical copy is much easier to read it. PDFs maybe better to search but I find a lot less eye strain!

I kind of gave up on finding an actual physical copy (although if I see one on eBay I'll probably pick it up) so bought the pdf, printed it out, and had it bound at Staples.

The binding is comparatively cheap. Usually £2-£3, often less. I've printed out quite a few pdfs - MA4, all three GAs, Emer I & II, Powers, Xa'ar, Gethaena, The Iron Wind, The Grand Campaign and Cloudlords amongst others.

The printing...well, I hate to think. It can use up a lot of printer ink. Not so bad on black & white pages though.

I'm quite pleased that the Players book is going to be available printed in the UK.

Me too - paying postage from the US is very expensive!

I would say that it could be prohibitive but it never stops me!

The printing...well, I hate to think. It can use up a lot of printer ink. Not so bad on black & white pages though.

Ink is so expensive!  If you do a lot of printing, you might save money by buying a cheap b&w laser printer and printing the b&w pages up yourself.  I bought the cheapest b&w laser printer I could find, and it blows my expensive color ink jet away.  It prints faster, the text looks sharper, and although the toner cartridges cost twice as much as the ink cartridges, they last ten times longer.

I bought it because I wanted to print out a bunch of RM .pdf's.  I'd estimate that within a week, I already saved more on ink than I had spent on the new printer.  (Although I have to admit that there was something wrong with my color printer, as expensive as it was.  Even when I set it to print in b&w only, it still used the color ink!  That made it way too expensive to use.)

I bought a Samsung Network Colour Laser printer from Amazon for £128 which was amazing and it does print things out very quickly and clearly!

In my past, I've printed some large PDFs from RM and I used the Laser Printer from work. 

Printing from my inkjet was far too expensive, slow and not very good quality (particularly when moisture is involved) - which is why I've found it to work out a lot cheaper to get the physical books even though the postage from the US is very expensive or the resale from UK people/shops is also very expensive.

Luckily I have a Color Laser Printer from my old work office when we were getting rid of equipment.   A laser printer can be very economical compared to inkjet, being 1/5 of the cost or less.    So I print up PDF's quite a bit myself and bind them at Staples.

I print using my HP PSC 1610. Quality is adequate, but generally doesn't compare to a proper print run.
