RoleMaster on RPOL
« on: December 31, 2009, 09:38:16 PM »

Hello folks, I'm trying to get an RMC/RM2 game rolling on RPOL.

  The link is :   http://www.rpol.net/game.cgi?gi=39984&date=1262234040

I'm experimenting with a homebrewed world, with some elements from Middle Earth, Shadow World, some of the Guild companion stuff and some ideas I started playing with way back in the day. I've got a couple of folks who are interested but the more the merrier. If interested stop by and let me know.

I've never played online. How does it work?

Depends, multiple versions.

Play by chat
play by post
play by e-mail
Play by personal messaging
play by VOIP (Like Skype)
play by Virtual Tabletop (Like Fantasy grounds)

Though, most online games I've been in have combined 2 or more of those.

It is a play by post game. The drawbacks are very slow progress. player dropouts which can kill the game.
The benefits are if you have no time or ability to play in an actual table top game then it lets you play and enjoy over the internet.

Sounds interesting. It would also improve my knowledge of the English language.
I'll check if I can do this seriously.
