Topic: What does the spell "Hand of the Steel Rain" do?

So, been trying to get an answer on this one for a while.  As my original post is more than 90 days old, I am following the advice of the system and making a new post.

Hand of the Steel Rain is a spell from the Powers of Light & Darkness Addendum, on the list The Steel Rain.  There are several issues with this list that made it through editing, but most of those are easily solved.  The one error that can't be solved is an entire missing spell, Hand of the Steel Rain.

There is no indication what the spell was meant to do.  The duration is "-" and the range is 100', but there is no description at all.

Terry Amthor, your name is on the book.  Do you have any idea what this spell was supposed to do?

It's strange that after 5 days TKA did not answer. You have my support and I'm curious too, my players could end in Palia quite soon.

I poked around on his website http://www.eidolonstudio.com , and didn't find any errata sheets. I can't say it was an exhaustive check though.

I think KTA has been busy madly editing several books for the last few months:

Doing the final pass on Jaiman while awaiting a few last illos from Craig. I must admit I will be glad to see this out the door and move on to Haalkitaine, Emer IV, NE Jaiman, and revisions of Emer I and II.

I doubt he's avoiding the question, and what you are asking seems totally reasonable.

Out of curiosity where did you get that adendum? I have the main book, but hadn't heard about any add ons.

Ok, answered my own question about the addendum. Didn't find any errata for that in the Vault either. Wish I could have found the answer, because I am curious about it too.

Worst case if you don't get an answer you could just extrapolate an effect using the other steel rain spells as a guide. My first thought was steel slivers flying out of the casters palm, but that's already covered by steel spray.

All within take a “B” Slash Critical every round in the

This is from the Powers of Light and Darkness addendum, spell lists, but apparently is from a more updated version of it. I can't remember where I got it from. It is in pdf form. Perhaps a moderator or someone else can explain where the most updated version of this file is?

Pretty sure the OP is after the description for the level 25 spell 'Hand of the Steel Rain.' That spell has no description in the addendum.

It's not in either the original 'Powers' book, or in the separate copy of that addendum in The Vault.

It looks like Hand of the Steel Rain might be a more powerful version of Steel Spray.

I'm reworked some of the SW spell lists like I did with the Priest Arnak lists. The Steel Rain is featured heavily in "Priest King of Shade" and I have included some additional spells for them including "Hand of the Steel Rain". Since PK is now in limbo due to editing I'm willing to post them up.
