Madly formatting stat charts for TGA#4. It's nearly done. Then I can get back to writing Shadow World! I really need to jump back in revising the old Emer books.

Hi TKA!

Just out of curiosity, do you edit/update your books from what fans here on forum "want" or what you feel like writing about?

Ps. I my self am 100% Jaiman person!

A combination I guess. I have posted polls here in the past asking people what they would like me to concentrate on.

Struggling to bet back into the writing chair... Should I work on the Emer I or II revisions (lots of graphic work involved there, but Craig has already send some really cool artwork for those books!) or go back to NE Jaiman, or Emer IV, both pretty well along... I'm a Libra,* so I agonize over every choice...

Do what I do - work on everything. Okay, it's not the most productive way to work on lots of different projects during the same day, but at least you get something achieved, until you can decide on, or come up with the inspiration for, a project to devote the most time to.

Actually that is sort of what I do informally, unless I have a deadline. I work on what I feel interested in at the moment. So, I got a lot of Emer IV done a few months ago, but now I am leaning back to the revisions. And then there is Jaiman, that is a morass; we are not sure what to do with a master sourcebook for that.

I'm still not sure that Jaiman really needs a master sourcebook, given how many regional supplements are either done or in progress. Xa-ar, Cloudlords, revised Norek, revised Haalkitaine, Wulriis. Perhaps simply a Players or GMs guide, with the old Jaiman adventures expanded and given their own book.

There has been talk of a Player's Guide and a GM's Guide to Jaiman, which I think would be great, but I'd rather hand those off.

After all, you have sourcebooks for all the other regions to do :)

I've wanted Emer IV for a long time.  While we know a bunch about various bits and pieces in the region, getting Terry's vision of major places like Kaitaine would really help solidify the continent as a whole.  Once my players expanded beyond Sel-Kai, Danarchis and then Kaitaine were the next natural places to expand their commercial activities to and I've had to make up a lot of Kaitaine on my own.

In my SW campaign, the Alliance tried to stage a coup in Kaitaine with Jenaar and Kal-Chah strike squads (as they did in 5028-29 to the Shoneb Empire) in TE 6065  (or so), but were foiled by the PCs.

I really like the idea of more players guides. I only play in Shadow World, I don't run the setting.

Nice! I have the Alliance taking advantage of Kaitaine when they are weakened from the meteor damage of the great fire.

I can't remember if this was mentioned in the past, but what's the Shadow World adventure in GA4 about?

It is actually JInteni-related and takes place in SE Emer (Emer III). It provides a gateway into SE Emer from other locations...

That should be good. Do you have any other small adventures in progress that would also link to the more recently published supplements? (And do you know if there's a GA5 in progress?)

I have several adventure ideas, but they are mostly just jotted-down notes. Tales from the Green Dragon was originally intended to be much more generic adventures, so that I could do sequels (More Tales from the Green Dragon, etc.), but it grew and morphed into a mini-campaign. I'd like to smaller modules, but my plate is kind of full now, what with writing new adventures for the Emer revisions...

As for GA5, that is Nicholas' department.  :)
