Every time I try to get the Eidolon page on RPGNow, I get an error. What's up with that?

I was having a problem on my PlayBook a few days ago where every time I tried viewing a URL with a question mark in it it gave an error.

I get to the page without any problem - but I get an error when I try to click the 'Full Size Preview'. :(

Eidolon softcover proofs are on the way to us. Hardcover arrived and looks fabulous. Meanwhile I am still a bit at loose ends after the move. Slowly unpacking (and deciding where things should go). I did put up my SW maps in the home office yesterday, and did some editing on the second SW novel today, with a little more unpacking. I got rid of a ton of books and DVDs before the move and I still have a bunch.

Excellent - so the images didn't bleed too much into the paper this time? Or was the Hardcover printed on the premium paper?

There is some show-through, but I didn't find it bothersome, like with Emer III and the art bleeding to the edge. I don't think that the bleed is worth the trouble unless we are doing a primarily art book like Player's Guide.

We could offer the thicker paper for a higher price, but that's not my decision.

Just noticed that Xa-ar has gone Electrum.

Yay!  It actually would have a long time ago, but it was originally released in Drive-thru, then moved to RPGNow, and it had to get a certain number in RPGNow... it's complicated.

It also was released on the old store, guild.ironcrown.com, which was where I purchased it. So that's a sale that never counted for metal, and I also printed it out, so haven't bought it PoD yet either.

I wonder what's likely to go Gold? Player Guide has been Electrum the longest, but some of the newer ones might sell faster. Like Green Gryphon, which can be easily modified to any campaign setting.

I'm surprised that Gryphon has not even gone Electrum yet, but I don't know how heavily it has been marketed to the wider Rolemaster crowd as something that could be used generically.

Heck, Green Gryphon could be marketed to the wider D&D crowd, especially OSR, never mind Rolemaster. All you probably need is the conversion notes that used to be in the old modules I reckon. Might be worth writing them up again somewhere, maybe as a free download.

Good point! And they could even say that the author is an experienced D&D writer (well, once, long ago... http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/17317/HHQ7-Thiefs-Challenge-II-Beacon-Point-2e?it=1)

It was a real joy to read those words, "the second SW novel."

Still unpacking, hanging art and finding new places for all my crap (it's a 'process'). I have a lot more closets than before (like I need those) but the kitchen storage is not nearly the same. Grr.

I do have most of the RPG books unpacked and my SW maps hung up in the new office though. Between sorting through stuff, I am working on the 2nd Shadowstone book, Wuliris (looking like it will be a big sourcebook like Emer III), Emer II, and a separate ICE project.

Also, had some infuriating issues with my Comcast internet; they've been here 3x now. It seems to have settled down for now...

It's been a weirdly warm fall here in VA.

Here in east Tennessee, too. Couple of cold days, then back to the 60s.

Indeed, fourth warmest October on record. http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/summary-info/national/201510 We're expecting above-average temps for the next three months, at least in the northern half of the US (colder in Texas, New Mexico, and Lousiana). http://w2.weather.gov/climate/l3mto.php

After last year, I will not complain about a mild winter. We've almost finished repairing the damage....

Ugh, struck down by some stomach thing again (I used to have a stomach of iron!), just starting to feel better and getting back into the projects from the above post. Doing some major reworking of the second SW novel...

Sadly, still awaiting the softcover proof of Eidolon. The hardcover does look lovely though!
