Yes, I am terrible with deadlines. On the plus side, there's a bunch of new stuff for the Haalkitaine revision, whenever that might come out. Meanwhile, back on Gryphonburgh, and hopefully at the really final push of the last adventure. All the NPCs are done, and most misc. bits are finished.

Getting close to completing the Gryphonburgh Inn Adventure/Campaign book, now approaching 76 pages, with NINE fully fleshed-out adventures, and nine adventure hooks, plus background of the town of Gryphonburgh in Jaiman. Also crawling towards completion is Guild Adventurer #4, featuring a SW adventure set in SE Emer!

Just waiting for the caffeine to kick in...

This is not quite me at the end of a project...

You have to love Lloyd Bridges (Sea Hunt! Commander Cain!), Robert Stack, Leslie Nielsen, and Peter Graves (I always thought he was so cool in Mission: Impossible) doing slapstick and bad-pun comedy.

Next up: Finish that darn Emer II revision, then maybe some editing and Wuliris.

Airplane is one move I cannot stand as my roommates in college watched it almost every day. Our room had a TV (mine) and VHS player and quite a few people on the floor came over to watch and everyone loved Airplane. So much that the movie was one at least 2 times every week and I just got burnt out on it.

Yikes, well you are forgiven! And the movie is certainly juvenile and silly. I don't think I've seen it more than a couple of times.

On the final lap of Gryphonburgh, going to take a little break and visit Emer II before a last pass and send to Dr. Caldwell in the morning. Some of the adventures get a bit grim, a little darker than the kind of 'cozy mystery' style some might associate with my SW. (Or do they? Is SW dark enough, too dark, or just right?)

As for Emer II, it just has lots of little bits that need finishing, and (ugh) adventures. Since this books has already got so much new material, and I have does several new adventures already, I might make the the last few hooks... or the darn thing might never get done!

Yup,

waiting for caffeine to kick in has become quite a bummer in recent years. I tell myself that I continue to drink it for the taste. Unfortunately coffee also does seem to develop a contrasting effect as of lately: it makes me tired!

That said. With all the coffee in play, I hope that Emer II is still something to see the light... so to speak. Can't wait to get my hands on Gryphonburgh.

You can do it !!!!!

Does it look like Emer II will be the next to be ready after Gryphonburgh then?

That's my current plan. I have also done a lot of work on Eidolon, but there seems to be more interest in Emer II. I also have written a lot of the Wuliris module, and working through edits on two good submitted books for a region to the east, and Lethys. But as far as issuing new editions, I see Emer II first, then Eidolon, Emer I and Haalkitaine are all running neck and neck. I keep bouncing back and forth between them. All of them already have dozens of pages of new material, and the old text cleaned up. And then there is Loremaster Legacy II in there somewhere... and Space Master.

Of course, the Gryphonburgh book came totally out of the blue (poor Dr. Caldwell!), so who knows what will happen next.

My personal preference would be for Eidolon (or Haalkitaine) before Emer II, but I can wait. Or I could think of more distractions - the Loremaster HQ for example.

I would like to see that also, the Loremaster's HQ.

Haalkitaine, Emer I and II. They're all missing at my end of the road. That said, release order is not really an issue when I don't have the old tomes anyway. Any re-release will be a huge addition to my plot factory.

Gryphonburgh however plays neatly into the campaign and I'll make sure to keep the folks busy in Jaiman long enough until the mail man makes his delivery 8)

Last few cleanups of Gryphonburgh... always the hardest part, tying up loose ends and such. I will be interested in feedback, since I spent most of my effort on the nine detailed adventures, which are laid out in the detailed scenario style like Eidolon. The adventures run the gamut from a little mission to a murder mystery, to exposing a conspiracy, to local political intrigue, to a rather dark couple of final scenarios involving the darkest evils of the Shadow World.

Speaking of feedback, what did everyone think of Emer III? Please rate it at RPGnow!

Not to add to the workload, but have you considered (or already plan) putting in Gryphonburgh some generic PCs for use by those new to the system(s)? I once mentioned to Nicholas that it might be interesting to have a set of Rolemaster "iconics" who appear throughout the product line (like the red-border McBride PC group of days gone by).

If there is interest, maybe they could be created (but not by me, except in broad strokes). We do have an eclectic adventuring group, which can be seen in illustrations in the Emer III module, which Matt and I (if I recall) did some backgrounds on so we would have an ongoing adventure group in the spirit of the old RM book covers.

There are a few adventurers in a group together that'll be running through the SW line as more books come out (and you'll have already seen some of them already).

Matt was going to create them as example characters when the RMU books were released (as these adventurers were going to be used in illustrations in those books as well). But to have them multi-stated for all RM versions in the SW book would also be great! :)
