Title: Invisibility and Blade turn
Post by: Batfish on April 08, 2017, 09:38:15 PM
My Question is someone who cast Blade turn when Invisibility, will they become visible ?

Normally, I'd say allow any U(tility) spell while Invisible without a worry but because Bladeturn targets another's attack, that it could be seen as an attack, itself.

If it was just a personal Shield or Blur spell, no way, but Bladeturn/Turn Missile, is a yes from me:
Invisibility should end(from now on).

I don't see why not. But such a spell would probably alert others to the presence of a hidden or invisible being. With Bladeturn you are not attacking or making any aggressive actions upon another. It is not as if you are physically parrying any attack as you are casting a spell that deflects a bladed attack.

I would not have them become visible, although the effect might give a hint as to the location of the invisible caster.

I would treat this in the same way as jdale. The caster would remain invisible.
