We had a small issue that temporarily shut down the domain, but we believe it to be corrected. Thanks for your patience.
-
As of last night it was confirmed to be addressed - thanks again for your patience.
-
I did have a problem again this morning.
-
As of 11pm eastern (New York time) the issue was marked as resolved. As I can't be on line 24 hours a day - if you encounter an issue accessing the domain in the future, feel free to send me an email at Thom-ice@hotmail.com and I'll address the issue as soon as possible.
-
Okay, will do. I would reckon I had the issue at around 5-6AM Eastern.
-
That may have just been normal temporary server downtime instead of the major issue from yesterday - but please keep me advised. Thanks!
-
ummm, all my private message have disappeared except the most recent one. :(
-
Nothing was done to the database and my file still shows PM's back to 2010 (which was when I did a major purge on them). I will see if there was a signficant impact to the file, but it is unlikely as the data was restored without update.

Thanks - there was an important discussion I was having with someone and I couldn't remember who it was (because my memory is crap) so I was panicking but I notice that all my sent messages are there so I still have half the conversation (along with the 'quote' of the original messages) so the panicking is over. :)

I experience random "fail to see the forum and instead land on link page belonging to host company" when I surf the forum. Most annoyingly it happened when tried to post my reply on a thread.
-
Saw it briefly again ~5 PM Eastern time today.
-
Ok, now I feel very silly! The newest PM I had was on page 2 - I didn't notice the 'pages 1 [2]' under that message. My PM's are still intact but my self esteem isn't. :o
Very silly indeed!!!!! :bang:

Glad to hear it was only user error...
I'll investigate to see if there is any issue going on that may be resulting in domain drops.

Lots of more trouble connecting to the ironcrown site yesterday. It seemed like the DNS entry for Ironcrown kept changing back and forward.
