Title: Weather Generator Excell Program?
Post by: Warl on June 05, 2013, 11:12:13 PM
Hey guys, Been a while since I been around.

I was dusting off a bunch of My files to get a new game going and I pulled out the Weather generator that was Made by Darryn Glass years ago. I thought I had Lost it.

But, When I went to run it, It won't work. It loads up just fine in Excel, and I can type in values to use to generate the weather... but I can't use the drop down for selecting the climate, I can't toggle the generate button, and it won't generate anything.

Does anyone Know what Might fix this? or is there an Updated Version of this program some where...
I had been trying to find this program again for my current campaigns.. It was an awesome program. I hope some working form of it is still around.

Looks like its in Excel 2003.  I am running 2007 and it seems to be working for me.  I can use the pull down to select a climate or change the month and it will calculate a day's weather.
What Excel series are you running?  I know there were some problems with the pull downs because of incompatability of some versions of Excel not interacting well together.

You probably need to enable macros.
