In Particular fire, water, earth, and air.
Fortunately I have quite a few for Water and almost as much for Fire.
I only have two for wind and one for earth from (which is from The Hobbit).
I really need more for wind or air and more for earth.
I am designing a dwarven dungeon based on the four elements. There may be one room (or area) for each element with multiple riddles for each room/area. If the players have a hard time solving the first riddle the others will be found for clues. The final room will be a riddle in itself and will be based on the previous answers.
Please note the answers to the riddles do not have to be "earth", or "air/wind". I prefer to have them refer to something that deals with the element. Like one where the answer is a candle. It could refer to fire or wind.....
I am also open to interesting ideas on puzzles that pertain to the riddles.
Any good links will help also but I have scoured the interwebs and there is not much that I could find.
Thanks in advance!

All about, but cannot be seen,
Can be captured, cannot be held,....
Answer: 'wind'
Three lives have I.
Gentle enough to soothe the skin
Answer: 'water'
I am always hungry,
I must always be fed
Answer: 'fire'
Bright as diamonds,
Loud as thunder
Answer: 'waterfall'

Voiceless it cries,
Wingless flutters,
Toothless bites,
Mouthless mutters.
Answer: wind
What flies forever and rests never?
Answer: wind
What moves before the sun but does not leave a shadow?
Answer: wind
What can you hold without ever touching or using your hands or feet?
Answer: your breath

As for earth... this seems to be tricky indeed. I got some things related... Perhaps you can alter the riddles a little or maybe it'll inspire you to create the ones you need.
The more you take, the more you leave behind
Answer: Footprints
Born of Earth, but with none of its strength.
Molded by Flame, but with none of its power
Shaped by Wind, and with all of its clarity
Answer: Glass (I added this because it seems to envelope 3 of your elements. You could add in the end something related to water, e.g. Diverse as Water, with none of its traits)
In we go
out we go
all around
and in a row
always, always steady flow
when we'll stop you'll never know
in we go
out we go
Answer: Tides (maybe you can alter this into an earth riddle?)
I am the third from a sparkle bright,
I thrive throughout the day and night,
Deep in the path of a cows white drink,
I've had thousands of millions of years to think.
But one of my creatures is killing me,
And so the question I ask to thee,
Is who. Am. I?
Answer: Earth (the planet - but you'd have to either leave out the first sentence or alter it)
What has roots as nobody sees,
Is taller than trees,
Up, up it goes,
And yet never grows?
Answer: A mountain
I took these riddles from the following page (if you haven't been there yet you really should have a look)

Good luck man, hope it helped a bit.

Those are all pretty decent though I have a few of them already.
For the glass one I came up with this:
Cooled by water, but with none of its force (or "and with it's diffraction").

Tales of Phantasia has a riddle based on four elements on Moria Gallery, in order to open a door to find a Spirit, you have to go to another section through a teleport where you found yourself in the center of the room, with four "altars" ahead, behind, left and right from where you where standing. At each 'altar' you had to summon an elemental(which had to obtain them previously). The riddle that gives you clues goes like this:
'Death is always at your back, for all return to the earth from
which they came...'
'...the fire of life is at the births to come...'
'...the tears of the mourning woman are on your left...'
'...and the wind blows forth from your right...'
So, based on each clue, the 'earth' elemental was to be summoned at the south 'altar', the fire one goes north, the tears are water, so the Water elemental goes west, and the wind goes right.
If you think it's too easy, then there's the other version(PS) of the same game:
'Invite The Bringer of Destruction to The Way of the Dead.
When you feel the Breath of Life, bring forth the Giver of Life.
The Maiden that weeps for the dying sits at the right hand of Death.
The Wind blows across the Stream of Time, the span between Life and Death, toward the Maiden.

Those are awesome! I will have to use them the next time I run a dungeon with riddles.....

A bit off topic, but here a couple I have loved.
Remove the outside.
Cook the inside.
Eat the outside.
Throw away the inside.
Answer: Cob Corn
Until I am measured,
I am not known.
Yet how you miss me,
when I have flown.
Answer: Time.
This one is from above post, but completed:
Three lives have I.
Gentle enough to soothe the skin.
Light enough to caress the sky.
Hard enough to crack rocks.
Answer: Water (liquid, vapor, solid)
This one you probably have:
Causing wounds, yet I cleanse.
History dies in my rinsing.
Life or scars are my blessing.
Remove one of my triad,
and I cannot exist.
Answer: Fire (the triad is Fuel-Heat-Oxygen, remove only one and no fire).
You might have this one also:
I am clear, yet seen as white.
I weigh several tons,
yet when I fall,
I make only a whisper.
Answer: Snow.
