Hi folks,

I'm working on a new character sheet based on the feel of the some of the older character sheets that had checkboxes on them for Skill Ranks. The sheet is based off of the one Patrick M. Murphy (Mad Irishman) created back in 1994, but updated with Resistance Rolls, Weapon Skill Development Point Costs, and a few additional changes for RMC.

Version 1.0 is done, but I want to playtest it for a bit before posting it up...then I plan on making a simplified version for Rolemaster Express.

Any thoughts on where to post this once I'm finished?

The sheet file attachment is broken for me. Is this just me or do others just see a red X?

It isn't an attachment to the post, it is just an image link to another server. You are seeing the red x because something is blocking you from going to the server where the image is stored (I am seeing the sheet).

I am attaching the image to this post, so that you can hopefully see it. (I kinda like it!!)

Thanks for the comments folks. I am working on correcting some typos,
and making a few changes...Then I will upload the finished sheet to the
vault.

When I make revisions to the original sheet, will I be able to go in and
replace the original with the new on the Vault?

You can upload new versions (best to give them version numbers), and then PM me asking me to remove the older versions.

Thanks Rasyr. I can see the sheet in your post. It is probably the firewall here at work.

So far, I like what I see too. I have always had a soft spot for the check box ranks.

Thanks Rasyr -

I saw from your post over on RPG.net that you tend to prefer the RMX iteration of the Rolemaster
rules set, so hopefully, you'll try the sheet out in your games.

It will be a bit before I have a final RMC version. I'm working on an RMX campaign with a group
of friends who aren't that familiar with RM, so I want to get in and play a bit, then 'graduate' them
up to RMC. Once we have had some play time, I will modify the sheet based on our experience.

In the meantime, I will try and get a somewhat 'generic' RMC version finished and uploaded.

Based on some thoughts/edits from Rasyr, I am making some minor adjustments to the RMX sheet, and will upload it to download when I finish. You guys might want to hold of on downloading until then.

And after a quick glance, I see that spell lists on the sheet still look like the standard RMC listing - in RMC, spell lists are learned like skills, but with only a +1 bonus per rank.

And I still think it looks great!!!

When may we have the RMC version?

I'm really intrigued in that cause I have always hoped in a revision of the "filled boxes" version of rolemaster character sheet! In my opinion it's a level above the other sheets in term of visula impact!

I'm really intrested in the RMC version without the name of abilities, like the first version in jpg format but in a higher quality!
I'm waiting...

So much I wrote a short glossary (english => french) so you can make a french version.

Help yourself, just click here to grab it.
I can help you deal with accents and encoding problems if need be.

On a side note, you misspelled the word 'Intuition' and wrote it 'intution'.

I updated the sheet based on Rasyr's comments regarding the spell lists and corrected the "intuition" mispelling.

The new version (v1.2) has been uploaded to the vault and is awaiting approval.
