Japanese Version - Art
« on: August 23, 2008, 05:58:58 PM »
Hi,

Downloaded HARP Lite in Japanese just out of curiosity and I have to say I love the artwork. I always thought that porting such a game to Asian cultures must be different as a lot is based on Western European Middle Age. But HARP Lite has thourgh its art definitely a Japanese flair. Well done!

Remark: I like the artwork because it makes the thing looking very much Japanese. Would find it strange in the English versions :-)

Agreed, I also noticed the Character Sheet is kind diferent, and i really liked it. Is there any "english version" of that character sheet layout the japanese version brings us?

As you may have noticed from other posts, I'm a bit behind with all the forum stuff, but still wanted to comment that I downloaded it too and have to say that there aren't that many pieces in there but those that are are quite nice - although the Tiefling wasn't necessary in my opinion.

Y'know, I bet if you made an English publication of the HARP rulebook using the Japanese art and sold it at an Anime convention, you might get a good bit of coin!
