RM Monk proffessions???

I know there is the Monk,Warrior-Monk & High Warrior Monk inRM,but are their other Monk-like professions available? If so,can you give a brief description of what they are like? My GM has lots of the original RM companions but I don't want to wait till my current character dies to come up with a concept for a new one.

There were RM2 monk variants in the "Oriental Companion"

A lot of other professions could be used Monk-ish. . .

So what Monk professions are in the OC ? My GM has it I think,but I'd still like to know what's available.BTW are there going to be any Monk variants for RMC?

LOL I just thought of something..maybe I should clarify what I'm looking for duh!!! LOL

Are there any Non-semi-spelluser Monk/Monk-like profession that has a greater ability with weapons or a Ninja profession?

RM only has the Monk and Warrior Monk. The High Warrior Monk came from Rolemaster Companion I and thus is not a core profession.

In the RM2 book, Oriental Companion, you have the following professions:

Non-Spell Users
  • Samuri/Ronin: Fighter variant
  • Sohei: Warrior Monk variant
  • Ashiguaru: Fighter variant
  • Ninja: Rogue variant
  • Kuge: No Profession variant

Semi-Spell Users
  • Geisha: Dancer variant
  • Yamabushi: Monk variant

Pure Spell Users
  • Buddhist Priest: Cleric variant
  • Shinto Priest: Shaman variant
  • Wu Jen: channeling-based Conjurer Variant

No, I don't think there is any Monk related topics in any of the RMQ. Also, the RMQ are RMSS/FRP, not RM2/C oriented.

Also, if considering RMSS sources, the difficult to find Martial Arts Companion has the Zen Monk (Mentalism) and the Taoist Monk (Essence).

And the Guild Companion has a channeling based Monk as well for RMSS/FRP....

I think violence in games only causes violence in real life if the person in question has an insufficient mental capacity to deal with the real world in the first place. But, that's more the fault of poor genetics and poorer parenting than it is the fault of a videogame
