Depression Criticals
« on: December 24, 2007, 04:21:30 PM »
Hey all!

For my first post here I figured I'd show my noobery by asking where to find stuff.

I see on the Depression criticals table in RMC3 references to random traumas and insanities. My question is; where are the tables for these things located?

I don't recall one. You could grab one from another source (say Central Casting: heroes of Legend for example).

GM Law.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.

GM Law.
The only version of GM law I have access to is the 1995 (5521) version and I can't seem to find what I'm looking for in there.

There aren't any RM2 sources for this information?

If it is on the old GM Law, it will be under diseases...at least that is how it is in the new GM Law.  Under mental diseases.

In the Shadow World master atlas appendix (which you can find in the Vault) there is a Depression critical table, IIRC
I suppose a magician might, he admitted, but a gentleman never could.

I think there was also some pdf document by someone on the net from the RM community which had insanties in it, as well as the mentioned books.

Additional:
Found it. It was a "Sanity System" but for HARP. Was published by Allen Maher and can be found in the Guild Companion, can't remember the issue though. It can also be found in the Vaults on HARPHQ. The direct link ist this: http://www.harphq.com/free_downloads/Maher-HARPSanitySystem.pdf

Are they attached to the Changeling tables associated with the Chaos Lord. I seem to remember that some of the alterations took the form of mental problems.

We just use the insanity  charts in our old-dusty-unused `1st ed Dungeon Master D+D book. Since We started playing RM 15 yrs ago they are just weird reference now. But sometimes the odd answer. ;D

I've got most of the old crit tables, I don't recal it, but I'll rummage around.

I think I'm suffering from a 'C' depression critical right now ...

Earlier it was a 'D' depression crit, now only a 'B' - but who knows what tomorrow will bring? Maybe some of this:  ;D, or this:  >:(, or this:  :(, or this:  :cry1:, or even this:  :o.
