Title: Non-elementalist spells

You've got two gangs opposed to each other, taking cover. One among them, a low level sorceror, knows exactly where the enemy archers are, behind some wooden crates like himself; could he cast for example a 2-Limb Pain ((F) D: 1 rnd/5 failure R: 100' A random limb is in intense pain; for a leg, the target cannot walk; for an arm, that arm cannot be used.) past the cover?

Maybe some Spell Mastery could be demanded or some creative use of the Channeling skill transmitting spells instead of Power Points.

From classic SL --> full cover, detected but not sighted gives a -20 to the Base Attack roll
