Title: Imprisoning or banishing demons?

I have been looking over the various spell lists, but there does not seem to be any magic to, say imprison a demon in a pentagram or banishing it to its original plane of existence. Or am I wrong?

A quick look would give the following as option (using RMSS/RMFRP)

For Banishing:
Exorcisms list from of Channelling
Banishment list from Channelling Companion

For the whole imprisoning thing:
Summoning Circle list from Channelling Companion

Also,
Gate Mastery list from Spell Law(Of Essence) if you allow control demon to work on an already summoned/present demon.
Circle Mastery list from Essence Companion
Containing Ways from Arcane Companion
Dark Entities from Arcane Companion

I've always had and itch regarding this very thing. IMHO it would have made perfect sense to include demons and other typed entities in the cleric base list (Banishment I think it'scalled)

Wouldn't it be possible to use a rune/Symbol lore check to know the correct symbol to imprison a demon? With an additional read/use runes check?

Partial succes could indicate that the player knows which symbol but not that it needs to be made with virgin blood for instance?

I suspect it will be a little bit more complicated. Since magic exists and is largely driven by power points, you will likely need a proper spell or ritual. Your symbol lore skill would probably provide a bonus to your ritual...
