Title: Elemental Companion for RM2 in ERA
Post by: Ginger McMurray on February 18, 2020, 10:09:37 AM
Has anyone imported the elemental companion into ERA? If so, do you mind sharing the files? I may have a player running an Elemental Channeler (fire) for High Elementalist (also fire focused).

Nevermind, they're going to play a magician.

Of all the elements available, why take fire??? LOL.  Vibration crits are awesome!  Vacuum crits are fun (air).  Gravity wispling gets 3x attacks per round.  Electricity wispling gets 4x attacks per round.  Inertia is a great element.

Of course it all depends on which Elemental Theory your gaming world is at.  IMO, the most creative way of handling elements and elementals of any gaming system! :D   This elemental theory also leads to which elements have been "discovered" in your gaming world.

We use the Opposite Elemental Theory III which allows a lot of elements to choose from, but leaves out the complex and super-complex elements.  No Spirit, Time, Aether, Nether, Vacid, Plasma, Chaos, Matter, Energy are allowed in the game.  From balancing point of view, those are too OP.

More to the topic... Seeing Elemental Companion included in any 3rd party software and considerations would be awesome.  EC is often overlooked.

Flavor. The player wants fire, not vibrators or an electrician.
