Timeline
« on: February 01, 2013, 03:08:15 PM »
I have attached a timeline of Augustan Rome, derived from that in the second edition of The Age of Augustus (Malder, MA : Blackwell, 2007) by Werner Eck. It will form the basis of updated versions; one thing that I would love to do would be to create adventures slottable into the timeline, and ones more "free-floating" as it were, able to be used regardless of the external events. For example, there's a conspiracy in Rome shortly after the recommended campaign start. That would be a great opportunity for an adventure of intrigue, no?

I also want to add, over time, more external events in addition to those directly affecting Augustus.

Thank you for your time and patience.

I have updated the timeline, adding new details and making some revisions of earlier entries. There are some new entries as well.

I found a great resource with lots of details about architecture during the reign of Augustus, as well as notes about triumphs and other general events. I've noted down those items that I had missed before, and have added almost another two pages onto the timeline. I shall be looking for more details to add, and expect to have the next version up early in August (it will be version 1.2).
