The forum's been fixed, and now it's the latest version of SMF.

Gave me a weird message logging in, but it appears that it worked anyway.

Thanks for getting the forum back!

What was the weird message?

It just looked like it didn't accept the login, but it did.

This time it was normal, so....    On the other hand, it didn't seem to keep me logged in from before.

I am having the save issue, the message was security module could not handle the resource or something like that.

Yesterday I logged in once with the same issue JDale had and then came back and my user name and password was blank, the system kept giving me an error with my logon information (the security message above) and I could not even access any posts (I was curious as to if the posts were experiencing the same issues I was).
Today again I could not log in and decided to just click on the last on the bottom of the ICE Forums page and was auto logged in for some reason.

Hope that helps,

I think my issue was that my bookmark was to www.ironcrown.com, but after logging in it was taking me to ironcrown.com. The cookies and login data maybe were not being shared between those two versions of the URL. So every time I went to www.ironcrown.com, I was not logged in, but following any links would go to ironcrown.com where I was logged in.

Moral of this story for users might be to delete your bookmark and create a new one. There is probably a way to fix it on the site side, but I don't know what that would be.

I went and did some other stuff on the net and came back to see if I had the issue, it was still happening, that is was not retaining my account name and password and this time when Chrome auto put the information in it worked where as in the past I had to type it in as for some reason it would not take the auto information.

Did some more testing,
1) Shut down PC and tried to get to ICE Forums, got to logon screen and had same issues. When clicked on link got same error message below.
Error in security module was error I received.
2) Deleted bookmark to ICE Forums and then entered logon credentials (auto from chrome did not work)
Need to break this up into two parts before I time out.

3) Entered info manually, first two times did not work then on the third time it did work.

After logging in earlier I did some stuff and then came back and was not able to log in even though I was able to at first and did all of then stuff above, then shut down and did it again and it seemed to work.
I will try and do some more testing.

This is probably something I can fix, but until I'm an admin for the forums in addition to being a server admin, I can't be certain.
