Expanded Maneuver Tables from RM Companion IV
« on: February 01, 2009, 05:34:41 PM »
Hello All!

I like (and use quite a bit) the expanded maneuver table from the Rolemaster Companion IV  Page 10.  I love the insane, Phenomenal and Virtually Impossable tables for when the characters get to 10th and 20th level.

I do not like, however, that there is not a completed full table which includes the standard tables (easy, light, medium... absurd) and the expanded tables into one complete maneuver table.  I was going to make my own (by importing both into Adobe Acrobat and blend the two tables together.  I dont want to do this because it will look "hokey" and not professional.

Does anyone have or know of a complete and expand chart that includes ALL of these?

Please let me know!

I think you could export all the information into excell and then have it generate a new chart. But I do not know of any complete chart out there.

I'm glad you mentioned that - I'd forgotten about some of my old RM2 books!!  :)

Going through the 4 companions I have, I've found a lot of nice little optional rules as well as the extra mm options. I'd like to use a larger mm table combining them both but don't think it'd fit overly well - the current mm table has small enough text (for me) already without needing to make it smaller still to fit the new columns in too.  :-\

If I ever format one with the text at an acceptable size, I'll add it to the Vault. I'll be combining it with the RMFRP table if I make one. What system are you using?

I would submit it when its done but I do not know if it will be available for download as its a chart and covered by copyright laws. But I know that it would be very well recieved non the less.

That makes sense - It's a shame that there's not a way around that.  :-\

I'd have loved it if someone had already done it and it was available - but as that's not the case, it's a shame if I've gone through the effort and not be able to share it with others. :(
(anyway - a little too busy currently but I'm sure I'll be getting around to it)

Do the Vault downloads get vetted BEFORE they're available - or is it possible for a ruling before I attempt to make one and upload it?

Yes the Vault material is looked over before it is posted. If you would like I can try and find a answer for you or you can send an email to ICE about it. I am only a volenteer mod and not part of the company.

Thanks Mark

Perhaps nearer the time I'll drop them an email - I have my temple submission to deal with first mind you. :)

Although, I'll probably be doing it for myself anyway - I always find other things to do besides 'work' - you'll be surprised how tidy my desk is.  ;D

Another option is to put it on lagal paper so you do not have to make the text to small.

11x17 landscaped you can neatly bifold the second half of the page, so it will fit into a normal 3-ring binder, and will then line up with normal 8-1/2 x 11 sized paper.
Ex post facto.
