MERP/RM to HARP Conversion Guideline?
« on: May 16, 2008, 09:31:52 PM »
I've got a good bit of MERP/RM material that begs to be used in my HARP campaign.  Is there a guideline to follow for conversion?  I searched the forums but came up short.  If there's a guideline out there somewhere, being pointed in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

MERP never heard of,
but on the System Conversion Rules Board there is the
RM2 -> HARP Stat bonuses... Thread.
Maybe it is of any help ...

Well, it's kind of the reverse of what you need but might be somewhat helpful:

You should have a look on Mando's work. It's french, but still good  ;)

I will definately second the call to look at Mando's work.  I use it in my ME HARP campaign that I run.  Excellent work IMHO.

Thx guys.

If any of you has an english version of anything translated from HARP TdM, I'll be happy to add it to to the website, credits included. :)

I am still working on the conversion, even if it doesn't always appear on the site: I have included Middle Earth specific weapons (elven swords), worked on a final version of the "exotic, special & magic" materials for weapons and armors, classes have been updated again, etc.

Next updates will mostly be as pdf docs added to the downlaod section.

I would love to see this in English!  ;D
