Undead
« on: February 17, 2008, 11:30:34 AM »
 ???
Should undead be immune to bleeding from crits?
        Which ones?
Should undead suffer maneuver penalties?
        Which ones?

I have MaFG, but unless I missed it somewhere, there is no mention of the above.
Is this something that is left to house rule?
And if so, does anybody have any guidelines?

Thanks all!

bleeding == continuing ongoing damage -- it does not always mean "blood loss"

Personally, I would make undead immune to different types of bleeding based on the damage done (i.e. skeleton is immune to bleeding from stabbing weapons, but not from crushing weapons as "bleeding" from crushing weapons basically means that you have broken bones grinding together -- okay perhaps half bleeding damage hehe)

 :bang:

Now why didn't I think of that!
I had briefly thought about doing it that way... I guess I just needed some other input since there was nothing in MaFG (other than Frailty and such, which are really awesome!).

Thanks yet again for the quick answer! ;D

(Dang Tim, it seems you are always on here...do you get time to sleep?! :D ;))

Yes, frailti is great. With this concept, I have found it very useful that someone in my group has some skill ranks in Undead Lore to tell me to use the hamp of my spear rather than the point against skeletons. That is exchanging a large diminished puncture crits (as Rasyr said, some crits are useless against skeletons) for a medium crush -5 crits but with an additional +50 and no damage cap... When a hit connect, it is the equivalent of trading a +10 puncture capped to 110 for a +45 crush with no cap.
Now there's a plan : we go there, we blast him, we come back...
