Topic: Forest Troll Stats for RMSS/FRP?

I am planning a future campaign and looking for Racial Stats for Trolls (Forest Troll) for the RMSS/FRP system. I know they already exist in RM2/RMC but checking if they are already available for the RMSS/FRP system to save me some work. We started with another rule system but I was unhappy with it so have persuaded the players to recreate the characters and switch to RMSS but one of the players are playing a Troll of course.

Forest Trolls (and everything else covered in the back sections of Creatures and Monsters) should be found in RMFRP Races and Cultures.

• It's on page 155 (Stats) & 158 (Description) of the RMFRP "5802 Creatures & Monsters" book.
• It's also on page 119 (Stats) & 122 (Description) of RMC's "6504 Creatures & Treasures" book.
• And on page 52 (Stats) & 53 (Descriptions) or RM2's "1400 Creatures & Treasures 1" book.

The stats are identical so you can use any book.

That's a bit disappointing.

Still, converting from RM2 should be pretty straightforward. The trickiest part is going to be picking Body Dev and PP Dev progressions, but it shouldn't take much effort for a moderately capable GM to eyeball suitable figures. I pulled out C&T I to assist with a War Troll Fighter NPC recently, and it only took a quick glance at the RM2 stats to pluck some suitable RMSS numbers.

Edit: Ah, except for adolescent development. Still, even there, just grab Orc (Greater) and tweak a little and you're pretty much done.

But all the numbers for both RM2/RMC & RMSS/RMFRP to play as a Troll are in the Shadow World Master Atlas 4 if you didn’t want to try working it all out. 

It has stats for LOADS of creatures & monsters that aren't available in other books.

You could always choose to make all the player characters using the Master Atlas so they conform with each other. The Atlas has it's own Culture types.

I know. I wasn't planning to play in Shadow World and probably why I didn't think about SWMA4 as a source for the Troll stats but I do own a bunch of SW modules. It does have most of the generic races listed there for both RM2 and RMFRP. I like the cultures in Races & Cultures so that's why I will probably use one from there even though there are plenty in SWMA4 too. I am thinking that Sylvan Barbarian from R&C should be a good fit for a forest troll.
