Computer/technical equipment usage skills?
« on: September 14, 2014, 03:56:44 PM »
In Spacemaster? is there a Skill for skill at Using a Computer? or any other Electronic device? Like in Star trek, the Guy using the tricorder? or Bones using that small cylindrical Scanning device?

Computer enginieering is more for building designing?

And How about Programming? Didn't see programming in there, wouldn't that be a Linguistics skill?

Which version? In Privateers, there are a few. Data processing, computer crime, sensor analysis are the big three computer uses.

I think you would have a much easier time buying SM:P and trying to port the skill system back to RM2. Or you could also pick up RMSS and also use SM:P as your base to play your multi-setting game.

Well SM:P is an extension of RMSS/FRP so if you do not like it them you will not like SM:P base rule set. But IMHO the skill are a lot better laid out and organized which having read a few of your recient topics on this and the RM2 thread is what you are looking for.
