Topic: Natural ranged attack

I have a question concerning this talent and I hope you guys can help me with.
Situation: You buy the 30point talent in Character Law and chose to develop it in the missile category.
Is it considered as a magic attack or would it only be considered as magic when you develop it as directed spell?
How much activity does it take to use it?

natural ranged attack is generally considered a natural, non-magical attack (for example, being able to fire a porcupine-like quill at an opponent); even where it is interpreted as "breathing fire", the attack is considered non-magical.

However it is entirely at the GM discretion ...

Note that generally the ability to perform such an attack will make you look a bit freaky ... (so you would have those porcupine quills at least on your back of=r chest or the back of your hands, etc).

Sounds reasonable. But how much activity to use?

I would say 60% like any other missile attack.

In our games we consider non magical as well. 60% looks good as well as far as percentages. We tend to use 50% for our games, but that's just us.

I like the 60%Act as missile. Then you can go all the way down to 30%Act with -30OB but off-set with skill bonus. Either develop a skill for the attack or use 3x Ag.. whatever.

Eventually having an accurate ranged attack for only 30%Act would be sweet.
