Rolemaster Office 4.2.2 with magical items

The PC and NPC generator Rolemaster Office 4.2.2 is available, now.

The new major feature is the magical item panel.
Try it! And please let me know, if you like it or what could be improved.

Version 4.2.2 has some bugs and additionally a problem with Java 7. You could not opened saved characters with Java 7.

I've fixed it and you can download the new version 4.2.3

I haven't played RM in a while, but I came across this thread and downloaded the software. It looks like lots of work went into writing it, and the end result is actually very nice. My only complaint is that it isn't what I'm used to, (the old RM character spreadsheet) but that's really more to do with me than the software, isn't it?

Yes, it was/is a lot of work  :)
There are several ways to create a character. Excel-Sheet, Open-Office-Sheet, By-Hand, RMO, the spanish Libre de Esher, ... Every program has its own output and you have to chose your favorite one.
I've used the german official character sheet as template and optimized it to support the players with new features.
Example:
A magical weapon (marked as favorite) is printed under the weapon skill in smaller font. This feature is not supported by the original character sheet.
Example 2:
What if your character has 15 weapon skills? RMO expands the space ...

If you don't like the generated sheet, please tell me what you don't like. I need the users feedback ;)

I wonder what is the future of RM Office? Are you thinking of adding skill,combat,magic resolution to it?
I have some small ideas about UI improvements. Perhaps I could code something up and submit a patch?

What do you mean with skill, combat, magic resolution?

Currently I'm improving the basic and characteristics panels while implementing lbs/inch support additional to the metric system. (see screenshot on Google+(link in signature))

 I think he is asking for full automation of combat, but I could be wrong.

I have no plans to support playing at the table during playing.
The development goal of RMO is a nice and individual character sheet. I've developed RMO for my own and I don't use computer devices at the table during playing.

The next development step is supporting talent and flaws, but this can take some months. And I want to nice up the UI and there are some internal things to do, too.

Oh ... the main feature is non-metric unit support. You can enter weight in lbs and height ind feet and inch.
