Combat Style: Double Weapon
« on: February 12, 2011, 12:18:16 PM »
Using this combat style, wouldn't a character be able to essentially full parry -1 and still attack with 50% on the first attack, and 50% -20 on the second?

i.e.: the PC has an OB of 101 in a polearm and a DB of 60. He parries with 100, raising his DB to 160 against his opponent. But because only half of what he parried with is subtracted from both attacks, he can also attack twice with a 51 OB for the first attack, and a 31 with the second even though he's essentially on full defense.

Is that right?

Technically yes. Of course you need as many skill ranks in the weapon as in the style OB so you essentially pay double DPs for this attack method.

Best wishes,
