Review challenge
« on: July 28, 2014, 09:12:51 AM »
A little summertime challenge for you: do a little review for a SW product or two on RPGNow. People love to read reviews (just look at Amazon) and it may affect their decision to buy. (And don't feel like you have to give an item 5 stars just because I am asking you to do a review!) Think about the aspects of recent Shadow World books (or even older PDF releases if you like, and the things you like or dislike about them.

Specifically about Xa-ar and Emer III:
Too many adventures/not enough; were the adventures SW enough, too high level, too guided, or do you like all that? Too much history, or is that useful? Do you like these big books, or would you like more, smaller books that do a more general survey of a region, or concentrate on a small area in detail?

Also, please note in the review if you bought the PDF, the perfect-bound (paperback) or hardback.

You don't have to write a novel, just a few lines. And finally, if you don't want to post to RPGNow for some reason, just review it here for other forum people to read.
