Uj Desert - Story Ideas

Hey,

     I am thinking about using the Uj Desert as a start to my next Shadow World Campaign.  Does anyone know of or seen fantasy adventures set in a desert of this sort, ie nomadic people living in the desert near or around a river.  And if I remember are the Rhiani loosely based after SW Native Americans or am I getting them confused with another group.  Also the ideas can come from any source (Conan, Forgotten Realms, Dark Sun, or anything that I can modify to fit Shadow World.)  Can't wait to hear the suggestions.

This -- Day of Alakbar -- was always one of my favorites for a) the price ($1 in Kaybee Toys at the time) and b) the nifty village map.

Found Desert of Desolation Series and Master of the Desert Nomads, any other ideas?
