Information about Kaitaine

Hello, where could I find maps and general info about Kaitaine?  I'm planning a campaign in Emer and would like to use it as a base of operations.

The map of Kaitaine is on one of the poster map in the Emer Box.

I'll have to check if it has been reprinted in one or the other of the Emer book, but I don't remember it, so it has probably not been reprinted.

But first you need to define the time of your campaign, I seem to remember that Kaitaine went through a Huge Natural Urban Redesign in the latest years of the timeline.

I think there was a discussion about this recently.

I can dig up that map and scan it if need be. The meteor shower did encourage some rebuilding...

Yes, that would be fabulous if you could find it Terry!

I'm just starting a new campaign and tried desperately to find it; I only just now realized that it was in my old emer box (now lost, sadly), and when I bought the .pdf of Emer recently I don't think it was included in that.

Of course after I promised that, I couldn't find the darn map when I looked around last night. But I'll look some more; I know I have at least one somewhere in my vast stores of books...

Found it! I've uploaded a PDF of the Kaitaine, Artha and Kenezan maps (the color key is on the Artha map) to my downloads page:

The file is called Emer_cities.pdf

Boy those were done a long age ago in Freehand, so they are pretty basic (though I remember how the prepress bureau we used would often complain about how Freehand would crash their RIPs, especially the Eidolon one, with all the complex tree graphics). Hey it was 1990, and we were on the bleeding edge. Anyway, feel free to take these with a grain of salt...
