Mur Fostisyr/Ky?taari
« on: May 23, 2008, 06:03:09 AM »
Anybody an idea what happened to the far north? Master Atlas 4th Ed stops in 4359 TE, mentioning the Syrakakang. In 2th Ed it?s further developed till 5087 TE when Ajkara III pushes back the Syrakakang into the desert.
Anybody more information, be it canon or non-canon?

I know there is more up-to-date info in published work, but the new Xa-ar book (I'm almost done with the layout! includes some references to the Mur Fostisyr, what the Iron Wind is up to, and it advances the timeline slightly.

Thanks Terry, looking forward to it!
Did you include in the new book also some hints on Ly-Aran? I?m always wondering how the frontiere between the western Provinces of U-Lyshak and Ly-Aran would look like. Could be all,  from a big, big wall to ongoing trade connections with some Lugroki tribes...
Any hint?

The last word from Nomikos Library is that Mur Fostisyr has been under quarantine since 6035 TEI.

Quarantine because of what or by whom? By the Navigators?

Quarantine because of what or by whom? By the Navigators?

Quarantined by Loremasters and Navigators after Syrkakang sacked the Ky'tari capital city.

Edit:  I just found an entry for Spring of 6053:  "New Syrkakang declares dominion over all of Mur Fostisyr.  The Fustir, Ky'Taari, and Udahir go into hiding."

Thanks Dutch206. So basically Ajkara III pushes 5087 TE the Syrakakang back into the desert. Than we?ve got a gap of 1000 years after which some new Syrakakang becomes active. So let?s see what Terry writes in Xaar

Hi Walt,

I think there may be a little about that in the little free U-Lyshaak Watchtowers mini-module I did awhile back. It's still available on the Eidolon site. I don't remember how much there was, but the old watchtowers run pretty far down.

TKA

PS: Xa-ar is all formatted and sent to Nicholas for a final pass!

Hi Terry,

I used your "Watchtowers" in one of our last sessions. There ist the tower of "Geneth" rigth on the Istmus located. So I concluded that probably there is also the city of "Geneth", at the very west of U-Lyshak.
But is the frontier fortfied? I could be, the place would be ideal for the "Big U-Lyshak Wall"

It?s sad, we develop quite some material in the area that I would lik you to check but it?s all in German.
