The Fourth Age?
« on: February 04, 2008, 03:50:50 PM »
Hello,

In the Cyradon gazetteer, the first line is that Cyradon is at the very end of the Third Age, the Age of Emperors.

I guess that the opening of the Royal Roads is the End of the Third Age and the Re-Awakening is the Start of the Fourth.

What would the name of the Fourth Age be?
Or is that only something that can be named post age (i.e. the third age is past so it is then named Age of Emperors.....)

Just a curiosity...

I would say that it is named post age, as there has been no events of significance yet to be worth naming, at least not yet.....

Mind you...

Any historians that came through with the refugees might be scribing their hearts out with the details of what has happened, especially with the Re-Awakening. They might be trying to give it a name, but not one that we, outside the events (or creating said events, mwah, ha, ha! :evil1: ) would give it...

Coming through some strange portal to a old "new" land, meeting strange new races, the Devastation and the subsequent Re-Awakening... the Age of ReAwakening maybe?

Not that I'd include that in My adventures, but just food for thought...
