Are they sure of the father ?

After all Andraax has played with 'universe travel' - as seen by his rambling in  Courts of Ardor- He might be the father... it would explain everything.
We just have to wait and see if the baby develop any psionic ability, and/or any of the specific K'Ta'Viiri stuff.

AFAK, it's a "defect" that can happen, it's quite unusual ( rare I should say ), almost everytime it happens the 6th digit is not working ( no bones and articulations ), and it's exceptional to have it on all the members.
