I took out my old Creatures and Treasures I and II from RM (published '85 and 89' - I'm growing old) checking what I'd love to see:

- I totally agree on the Shards, we defintitely need those!
- Bring up all the "celtic" monsters, e.g. the Banshee, Fey Folk (Pysk, Peries, Gremlins,...), Nucklelavee ; imo you did an excellent job with the Barghest.
- Finally I like the Vile from C&T II

As  for the conversion I agree with most of the others to NOT use the HARP policy on stats!

P.S.: Glad to be back in this forum after over a year of absence! ;D

Creatures:
1) Plant creatures (treeherd...): see above
2) Champions: if Something Wicked is full of ugly demons, the world needs a handful of benign spirits for the Balance of Things.
Troll humour:
"What would You say to a Dwarf with 12 helmets on? Nothin', you just hit him in the stomach instead! Ugh,Ugh"
"Why did the Dwarf cross the road? Because I said if he didn't I'd cut off his feet and stick them up his nose!Ugh,Ugh"

Hello All,

I have posted the Dirge to the Forum.

The Dirge is originally an RM C&T II monster but is now "Harpified".

I have created it with only four spells, at level 8.

4 Dirges against 6 PC's and I would have given them a TPK except one ran like a scared girl (Failed Aura of Fear check) and one ran voluntarily....

They are bad A$$ and Im proud of them.... :)

For the record......My Cleric/Mage would have fried them but........

Round 1 Turn Undead spell cast with spell adder and bonuses (146 + roll) and fumbled the spell (rolled a 5) resulting in electrifying my groin.
Round 2 cast Turn Undead cast with a fate point (126 + roll) and rolled a 7. One ran away.

Unfortunately my dice were cursed but once I've dipped them in Holy Water, it'll be different.  ;D

I have posted the Dirge to the Forum.

You could have submitted it to be published in the next issue of HARPer's Bazaar....   ;D
