I've recently started a new HARP group for a group of players with no earlier experience with any ICE games (you can guess with what game they did have experience with) and decided to use these tables instead of the simple critical tables in the HARP rulebook. I was initially afraid it will prove too much for them - but happily this worked quite well. The experience is very similar to RM combat, which is all I really wanted.

Now, after a few sessions I am considering making some changes - as I feel the tables deal critical damage too easily, but I have not yet done so as I'm going to try and see how it will work if I stop using the suggested optional rule that lowers HARP armor DB protection.
I had the time I'd probably make one major revision to these tables - add armors. It would be great to split each armor set to two - light & heavy, like in the old 10 million ways to die book.
